A charging cable housing device includes: a charging connector (150); a casing (101) having an internal space (101A) and extending along a top-bottom direction; a charging cable (160) housed in the internal space (101A) of the casing (101), and having one end which is extended outward from an opening (120H) provided in the casing (101) and to which the charging connector (150) is connected, and the other end from which electric power is supplied; and a cable reel (210) housed in the internal space (101A) of the casing (101) and located lower than the opening (120H), with the other end of the charging cable (160) wound up around the cable reel.
