A remote locking system of a mobile communication terminal and a locking method thereof are provided to display a locking screen image forcedly by giving a locking code and a releasing code to a file name of the locking screen image by the owner and transmitting the code to the mobile communication terminal through an MMS(Multimedia Messaging System) message. A lost terminal processing device processes the loss registration of the mobile communication terminal and the user authentication and generates the locking screen. An information authentication server(16) is connected to the lost terminal processing device and performs the user authentication process by the loss registration of the mobile communication terminal. A locking information providing server(18) gives the locking code to a file name of a locking screen data file generated by the lost terminal processing device and transmits the locking screen data file with the locking code to the mobile communication terminal. A mobile communication terminal(10) receives the locking screen data file from the locking information providing server and locks all functions of corresponding terminal and displays the locking screen in a display unit when the locking code in the file name of the locking screen data file is confirmed. |
