The present invention relates to a constant current circuit and an illumination system using the same. The constant current circuit supplies constant currents to light emitting diodes using a voltage regulator and comprises: light emitting diodes; a voltage regulator which supplies constant currents to the light emitting diodes by generating driving voltage according to voltage input into a feedback terminal; a current limiting resistance for limiting currents flowing into the light emitting diodes; a feedback resistance for inputting the voltage of the current limiting resistance into the feedback terminal; and a compensation voltage output unit which generates compensation voltage corresponding to an error value of the current limiting resistance, and inputs the generated compensation voltage into the feedback terminal, wherein the constant currents flow into the light emitting diodes regardless of the error value of the current limiting resistance.
