摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die casting machine capable of consistently producing excellent castings by adequately detecting a change in the molten metal supply amount. SOLUTION: The die casting machine 1 includes a ladle 23 for pouring ladled molten metal ML into an injection sleeve 7, a deposition sensor 29 for detecting the deposition state of the molten metal ML in the ladle 23 after pouring the molten metal ML in the injection sleeve 7, and a control device 31. The control device 31 controls an injection cylinder 11 so that the injection rate of an injection plunger 9 is changed to high (V<SB>H</SB>) when the injection plunger 9 reaches the predetermined high-speed changing position (D). The control device 31 sets the high-speed changing position at the same shot as the result of detection based on the result of detection of the deposition sensor 29 so that the high-speed changing position in the shot in which deposition of the molten metal ML is detected is closer to a cavity 107 side than the high-speed changing position in the shot in which any deposition of the molten metal ML is not detected.
