摘要 According to the present invention, an apparatus and a method for automatically controlling a dust collecting mode of a blast furnace capable of automatically changing a dust collecting mode to a wet dust collecting mode or a dry dust collecting mode by measuring the amount of air flow supplied to the blast furnace and the temperature of blast furnace gas. The apparatus for automatically controlling a dust collecting mode of a blast furnace comprises: an air flow measuring instrument which is placed in the blast furnace and which measures air flow supplied to the blast furnace; a temperature and pressure measuring instrument which is placed in the blast furnace and measures the temperature and pressure of blast furnace gas; a calculator which outputs a mode change signal by determining whether the amount of air flow measured in the air flow measuring instrument and the temperature and pressure of blast furnace gas measured in the temperature and pressure measuring instrument meet the predetermined standards; a mode changer automatically changing dust collecting equipment to dry dust collecting equipment or wet dust collecting equipment by receiving the mode change signal from the calculator; a wet mode selector selecting the wet mode of the dust collecting equipment if the mode changer automatically changes the dust collecting equipment to the wet dust collecting equipment; and a dry mode selector selecting the dry mode of the dust collecting equipment if the mode changer automatically changes the dust collecting equipment to the dry dust collecting equipment.
