A mat 1 particularly for use at a car drivers seat comprises two foot-shaped carpet areas 2, 3 with tubes 4, 5, and 6, 7 under carpets 2, 3. Tubes 4, 5, 6, 7 comprise upward-facing holes so that hot air may warm carpets 2, 3 and heat may rise to dry the soles of a drivers footwear. Tubes 4, 5, 6, 7 may be connected to a heating and blowing machine generating hot air and pushing it through the tubes. The heating and blowing machine may be connected through a 240 volt convertor to a cigar lighter of a vehicle, and may be located behind a drivers seat or in a boot. Tubes 4, 5, 6, 7 may be positioned under a carpet of the vehicle. Mat 1 may reduce the risk of feet slipping off vehicle control pedals in wet weather and may reduce squeaking when using the pedals. |
