Tap assembly with discharge valve

The arrangement has a discharge valve (5) inserted into a span gas line for a tapping head (1). The valve has a valve body with a high pressure side (6) and a low pressure side (7). A locking body (9) is transferred from locking position to monitoring position by initial process, where the pressure sides are connected in a gas-conducting manner in the monitoring position. Span gas pressure lies on the low pressure side as operating pressure that holds the body in the monitoring position, where the body is moved to the locking position during decreasing of the operating pressure. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an arrangement for tapping beverage.
