The invention relates to relates to a fish passageway system for upstream and downstream migration. The fish passageway comprises a multiplicity of station modules 103 interlinked with levitation modules 10, operable in steps with a first station module 103. Each levitation module comprises a lower capsule 101 connected by a conduit to an upper station module 103. The conduit has a lower gate valve 106 and an upper gate valve 107, the upper station module 103 has a gate valve 109 and the lower capsule 101 has a gate valve 108. Water is pumped slowly in controlled cascades from the lower capsule 101 to the upper station module 103, thereby carrying the fish to the top of a dam. |
