[Also in Group XVII] A camp bed comprises a base 1, an upstanding end flap 2 at its foot, side flaps 3, 4 having sliding-clasp fasteners 13 and a rolled-over extension 6 at its head with end panels 8 forming a pillow pocket 7. A blanket sewn into the bag along its edges forms a lower pocket into which an air mattress is inserted and an air bolster in the pocket 7 may be in one piece with the mattress. The flap 4 is secured to the flap 2 by press fasteners 23, and a free part of the head extension 6 forms a canopy supported by an inflatable tube 25. A collapsable bed frame consisting of spring legs 36, Fig. 5, fitting into unions 33 on rods 31 may be attached to the base by loops 30.</p> |
