<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of hydrocarbon, capable of economically producing a ≥2C hydrocarbon at a high yield by highly efficiently performing oxidation coupling reaction of methane, and to provide a catalyst for oxidation coupling reaction of methane and usable for the method. <P>SOLUTION: A ≥2C hydrocarbon is produced from methane by oxidation coupling reaction of methane, using a catalyst provided by carrying an oxide of sodium (Na), manganese (Mn) or tungsten (W) or a complex oxide thereof, on an inorganic oxide having ≥1.0 ml/g pore volume of pores of ≥0.01 μm pore diameter prepared from pore distribution measurement using the mercury penetration porosimetry. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
