A beverage making device is described, for preparing a beverage, such as a beverage suitable for human consumption with a fine-bubble cream layer. The device comprises: a beverage unit (3) for supplying the beverage; a nozzle (7) in fluid communication with the beverage unit (3); a dispensing spout (13) provided with a bottom wall (25) and at least one beverage dispensing aperture (41) in the bottom wall. An elongated flow guiding member (33) is arranged in the dispensing spout (13) and extends from said bottom wall (25) towards said nozzle (7). The elongated flow guiding member (33) is provided with surface ribs (35) extending along then flow guiding member from a first end (33A) facing the nozzle (7) towards the bottom wall (25).
