The independent suspension has a steering knuckle arranged around an axis of rotation (5) in a pivoted manner. A steering knuckle pin (4) is implemented in a two-piece manner, and has an upper section (20) and a lower section (21). An axial or radial fixation or anti-twist protection of the sections occurs to each other or to a spring carrier (16) by co-operation of the sections with the spring carrier or by a tight fit.
