摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a power train device of an automatic transmission for a car, which includes an input shaft receiving power from an engine, an output shaft outputting power and disposed on a shaft different from a shaft of the input shaft, a first planetary gear set selectively receiving the power from the input shaft, a second planetary gear set outputting the power received from the input shaft or outputting the power received from the first planetary gear set, a first external gear transmitting the power received from the first planetary gear set or the second planetary gear set, a second external gear transmitting the power received from the input shaft, a compound planetary gear set formed by the combination of a third planetary gear set and a fourth planetary gear set to shift the power received through the first external gear and the second external gear to nine forward speed and one reverse speed, an output gear transmitting the power received from the compound planetary gear set to the output shaft, nine rotating members connecting one or more rotating elements of the rotating elements of each of the first planetary gear set, the second planetary gear set and the compound planetary gear set, and six friction members each having a clutch connected to the selected rotating member of the nine rotating members so as to control the power and a brake disposed between the selected rotating member of the nine rotating members and a housing of the transmission, wherein the nine forward speed and one reverse speed can be achieved, while reducing the overall length of the car and the mounting capability thereof.</p>
