The present invention relates to an application deleting method and device that simplify a method for deleting an application that is in progress through several steps and reducing the case of deleting an application by mistake. An application deleting method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: receiving an analog touch signal through a touch panel in step (a); collecting the coordinates of the touch signal and time information where the touch signal is continuously received by analyzing the analog touch signal in step (b); and deleting, when the touch signal is inputted from the coordinates for more than a predetermined first time T1, deleting the application corresponding to an image positioned at the coordinates in step (c).
