A wireless controlling system of a digital TV and a method thereof are provided to control a digital TV wirelessly by using a mobile terminal instead of a remote controller of a digital TV. A Bluetooth module(111) senses a digital TV based on a Bluetooth method, at this time the sensing operation of the digital TV is performed based on a product model name. A digital TV around a notebook computer(100) is sensed and only predetermined digital TV is sensed on the basis of the product model name if the Bluetooth module is operated. An authentication request unit(112) inputs an authentication code displayed on a screen of the digital TV by using a keyboard and transfers the code to the digital TV. A controller(114) transfers a command code for a functional button operation such as channel and volume adjustment, etc. to the digital TV based on the Bluetooth module. |
