The present invention relates to an antitheft device for a bicycle and, more particularly, to a string lock for a bicycle, which includes a metal string having a lock at one end thereof inside a frame of a bicycle in order to be used as a loop lock by being pulled out, as necessary. The conventional bicycle does not have an antitheft device therein. Although there is a lock where a metal rod is inserted into between spokes in order to prevent a bicycle from being ridden by a thief, there is not a device capable of preventing a bicycle from being carried by a thief. Thus, in order to prevent the theft of a bicycle, a rider must carry a loop shaped lock for locking and unlocking the bicycle along with the bicycle. However, such an additional locking device causes inconvenience in storing when riding the bicycle and can be lost by being separated from the bicycle. Through the present invention, a metal string, whose one end is mounted in a bicycle main body and whose the other end includes a small lock, is mounted inside a frame of the bicycle. Therefore, the metal string can provide convenience in storing a bicycle lock and can allow the bicycle to be bound to a bicycle parking rack or a surrounding structure by being pulled out, as necessary. |
