<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device and a method of controlling the portable electronic device capable of determining validity of a command by simpler processing. <P>SOLUTION: A portable electronic device 20 comprises: a memory 28a for storing first date information; a receiving part for receiving a command transmitted from an external device; an analysis part for analyzing the command received by the receiving part and acquiring second date information; a comparison part for comparing the second date information acquired by the analysis part with the first date information stored by the memory 28a; a determination part for determining whether to execute command processing based on the command, on the basis of the result of comparison by the comparison part; a command processing part for executing the command processing on the basis of the result of determination by the determination part and generating a response to the command; and a transmission part for transmitting the response generated by the command processing part to the external device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
