PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste heat recovery system for a vehicle capable of sufficiently removing the waste heat of an engine during the high-load operation. SOLUTION: When a thermostat 7 positioned downstream of a radiator 6 in the coolant flowing direction is fully opened in association with a rise of the coolant temperature, a great majority of the coolant sent out to a coolant passage 27 from a coolant passage provided inside the engine 1 is led to the radiator 6 having a smaller pressure loss than in the primary fluid passage of a vaporizer 5, so as to emit the waste heat of the engine 1 positively, and therefore, it is practicable to utilize the radiating ability of the radiator 6 effectively.
