<p>The invention relates to an adapter (10) for a vacuum cleaner, wherein the adapter (10) can be connected to a suction opening (41) of a vacuum cleaner part (40) and to a suction hose (50), and a latch element (20) is disposed on the adapter (10) and can be brought into a locked position, in which the adapter can be fixed to the suction opening (41) by the latch element (20), and into an unlocked position, in which the adapter (10) can be released from the suction opening (41), and the latch element (20) is disposed on the adapter (10) such that the former can deform the suction hose (50) in the unlocked position, wherein a deflection window (30) is formed on the adapter (10) in order to allow deflecting of the suction hose (50) in the unlocked position of the latch element (20). The invention, using simple design and cost-effective means, provides an adapter that can be more reliably fixed in a suction opening. In particular, the adapter can be produced easily due to a simplified design.</p> |
