The present invention relates to a medicine storage apparatus for assisting the input of information printed on a medicine envelope, comprising: a main body having a receiving space for receiving medicine inside a door capable of being opened and closed; an input part installed on the main body; a memory part for storing information on the medicine stored in the main body; a display part for displaying display information; and a control part for controlling the display part to display the information on the medicine stored in the memory part if a signal for requesting the reading of the information on the medicine stored in the memory part is received from the input part. The input part is configured to be able to select a first manual input mode for inputting the medicine to be stored by the selection of a user. The control part provides, through the display part, a menu for selecting a taker, the kind of disease and medication conditions if the first manual input mode is selected, and stores, in the memory part, medicine-taking information on the items selected from the input part. According to the medicine storage apparatus, medicine-taking information can be input easily in the process of selecting a menu including the kind of disease with respect to the medicine prescribed in a drugstore, and the medicine-taking information can be stored via automatic character recognition when using a camera. |
