PURPOSE: A jump-roping apparatus including optical fiber is provided to maintain a tensile strength of the optical fiber and to emit light at an appropriate brightness at a desired location by using a transparent tube covering the optical fiber as an illuminant together with the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: A jump-roping apparatus comprises a string (10) including optical fiber (20) in a semi-transparent or transparent tube (11). The jump-roping apparatus transfers light generated from a light source included in a handle to optical fiber and emits light from the optical light. At least one emission region (25) is formed on the optical fiber, and the emission region includes multiple grooves formed in cladding that covers a core of the optical fiber so as to emit the light progressing along the core to the outside of the optical fiber. |
