Disclosed is an apparatus for mounting a roof rack of a vehicle. The apparatus for mounting the roof rack of the vehicle which is to connect a roof rack to a roof panel connection part disposed on a roof panel for a vehicle comprises: a connection part including at least one insertion hole formed in the lower portion of the roof rack in the longitudinal direction, a slot type opening portion opened to have a predetermined width at one side of the lower part of the roof rack in the longitudinal direction, and a retaining flange disposed at one side of the opening portion; a connector including an insertion portion which is formed in the upper portion to be inserted and connected into the insertion hole of the connection part and a fixed portion which is disposed at the lower part to be fixed together with the roof panel and is longer than the insertion portion; a roof rack fixing member through which the fixed portion of the connector penetrates and which is accommodated in the roof panel connection part to be connected with the roof rack and is retained to the retaining flange; and a roof pad which is disposed to be connected to the lower portion of the roof rack after being connected with the roof rack fixing member. According to the present invention, the apparatus for mounting the roof rack can prevent a damage of the roof panel when the roof rack is mounted on a vehicle, enhance efficiency through convenience in work, suppress price rise, and contribute to energy saving, such as increase of fuel efficiency through reduction of weight because the roof rack is fixed to the roof panel in the state where the connector, the roof rack fixing member and the roof panel are connected to the roof rack connection part. |
