HYPERVISOR-BASED INTRUSION PREVENTION PLATFORM AND VIRTUAL NETWORK INTRUSION PREVENTION SYSTEM

A hypervisor-based intrusion prevention platform and a virtual network intrusion prevention system are provided. The hypervisor-based intrusion prevention platform includes: a vIPS framework which acquires the internal information of a virtualization system from a hypervisor, and performs the security control of the hypervisor according to intrusion detection results using the internal information of the virtualization system; a hypervisor security API module which provides an API which allows the vIPS framework to access the hypervisor; an administrator account management and authentication module which manages an administrator account of the virtual network intrusion prevention system, and performs the authentication of the administrator account; a configuration management module which manages the configuration values of internal modules of the virtual network intrusion prevention system; and an external interface module which provides the outside with an interface for system control and security control.
