PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing scattering of a toner image during the transfer of the toner image onto a sheet.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes: a toner image forming unit that forms a toner image based on image data, and continuously transfers the toner image onto a conveyed sheet along with the conveyance of the sheet from a front end side to a rear end side in the conveyance direction of the sheet; and a fixing unit that is arranged on a downstream side in the sheet conveyance direction of the toner image forming unit, and fixes the toner image transferred onto the sheet by the toner image forming unit onto the sheet. The toner image forming unit has a toner image pressing part pressing the toner image before the transfer onto the sheet. |
