PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new stator for a rotary electric machine which is excellent in durability and reliability against the vibration while collecting and arranging tips of a plurality of lead wires in one position and which can easily achieve uniformity of line resistance among a plurality of rotor windings.SOLUTION: A plurality of numbers of stator windings 102 wound around a stator core 101 forming a cylindrical shape extend over a plurality of slots by lead-out wires led out from one ends of slots in the axial direction, respectively. The lead wires 300 provided at one ends of the respective stator windings 102 are collected and arranged in one position in a posture where the tips are oriented in the same direction. In a lead-out wire in which the respective wires 300 are provided, a fold-back part 400 is provided which is folded back at an angle of 90 degrees or more from an inclination line part 113 inclined in a predetermined direction from the slots and led out therefrom.
