PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic functional material having a large specific surface area and excellent photocatalytic activity.SOLUTION: There is provided a photocatalytic porous body having a specific surface area of 1 m/g or more in which a skeleton material has photocatalytic activity. The skeleton material having photocatalytic activity is preferably composed of a single material and more preferably composed of ceramics such as glass ceramics. The photocatalytic porous body preferably contains at least one crystal selected from the group consisting of a crystal having a NASICON-type structure, or a TiOcrystal, a WOcrystal, a ZnO crystal and a solid solution thereof. |
