A method for removing copper chaff from waste of mechanical processing scrap of cable and wire products consists in visual inspection of scrap and waste of cable and wire products, preparation for machining, screening, loading on a conveyor, rough grinding, magnetic separation, fine grinding, gravity separation followed by obtaining polymer chips, copper chaff, ferromagnetic metals, dust and a mixture of polymer chips and copper chaff, which is subject to further processing - fine grinding, gravity separation or electrostatic separation. A mixture of copper chaff and polymer chips is subjected to processing on a vibrating sieve. |
