The number of pixels increases according to pixelization of a display device and the number of gate lines and the number of signal lines increase. As the number of gate lines and the number of signal lines increase, it is difficult for an IC chip which has a driving circuit for driving them to be mounted by bonding and so on and there is a problem that increases manufacturing costs. It comprises a thin film transistor which has a pixel part on the same substrate, a driving circuit which drives the pixel part. At least part of the driving circuit is oxide semiconductor which is inserted into the gate electrode. The pixel part and the driving circuit are formed in the same substrate. Thereby, the manufacturing costs are reduced.
