Disclosed is a fire extinguishing apparatus for a duct. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the fire extinguishing apparatus for a duct comprises: a duct of which the upper portion is partially cut; an enclosure connected to the upper side of the cut portion of the duct, and forms a sealed space; a damper installed on the cut portion of the duct, able to rotate, and able to selectively seal the internal space of the enclosure; and a fire extinguishing nozzle connected to the enclosure and the damper, and capable of injecting fire extinguishing water into the duct depending on the opening of the damp. According to the present invention, water can be used as a fire extinguishing agent without using a special chemical or agent, and the damper installed on the duct protects a fire extinguishing nozzle and a hose connected thereto by sealing a separated space as usual so that the injection hole of the fire extinguishing nozzle can be prevented from being contaminated. |
