PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically-driven vacuum performing soundproofing measures by a simple structure, and capable of minimizing operation sound.SOLUTION: An electrically-driven vacuum pump 18 includes: a resinous case 130 having an inner space; a motor portion 110 disposed in the inner space of the case 130; a pump portion 120 driven interlockingly with the motor portion 110; and an upper cover 140 closing the inner space of the case 130 from a pump portion side. The upper cover 140 is equipped with a suction port 141 for sucking fluid into the pump portion 120 from the outside of the pump; a silencer portion 143 provided with a space portion communicating with a discharge port 127 of the pump portion 120; and a discharge port 142 for discharging fluid discharged from the pump portion 120 to the outside of the pump. The suction port 141 abuts on the pump portion 120 in an airtight state at an end portion so as to airtightly communicate with a suction port 126 of the pump portion 120. the discharge port 142 is formed with a throttle portion 142a.
