METHOD OF MANUFACTURING BLOCK CATALYST FOR PURIFICATION OF EXHAUST GASES FROM NITROGEN OXIDES

A method of manufacturing a block catalyst for purification of exhaust gases from nitrogen oxides includes forming a block of pre-corrugated metal plates coated with a porous oxide layer, on which a catalytically active substance is applied. Titanium sheets are used as a carrier, which are subject to electrochemical anodic oxidation and before applying the catalytically active substance are modified with formic acid, then the block is formed so that the corrugation peaks abut and form channels of square cross section.
