METHOD FOR PREDICTING CHRONIC PYELONEPHRITIS WITH RECURRENT COURSE

The method relates to medicine, namely to nephrology, urology and clinical biochemistry and can be used for improving the efficacy of the therapy in the patients with chronic pyelonephritis with recurrent course. The method for predicting chronic pyelonephritis with recurrent course consists in measuring the index of the oxidative stress in blood serum of the patients with pyelonephritis prior to the treatment. The index exceeding 2.5 units is suggestive of the recurrent course of pyelonephritis.
