A trap for rodents comprises a base, on which an inlet chamber with a bait is mounted, and a working ground, disposed in the chamber, rotational around the horizontal axis, which is kept with the aid of a holding mechanism, an accumulating chamber for rodents mounted under the inlet chamber. In a receiving chamber the working ground is mounted. It is made as a 4-blade rotor, which is rigidly fixed by the holding mechanism, consisting of an electromechanical lock and a pawl of an arresting stop. The centre of gravity of the rotor is on the horizontal rotational axis and it freely rotates thereon. While rotating, the plane of each blade alternately becomes the working ground, said blades are arranged in perpendicular to each other and have a rectangular cut on the side, opposite to an inlet, which does not reach the horizontal axis, and the remaining part of the blade, formed by said cut, is a tooth of the notched wheel. The bait is arranged in a working chamber on a contact unit, connected with a battery and an electromechanical lock with an electrical drive by an electrical circuit. Also a pair of opposite blades makes one plane with the base of the trap. |
