A method of adjusting tension on a reel of a small section mill, according to which tension of rolled products is set by setting drive current of a winder, measuring a deflection of rolled products downstream of the last stand of mill, adjustment of setting the drive current of winder during winding rolled products depending on the deviation of measured values of deflection from the desired value. During winding of the first layer the value of deflection hire of rolled products is preliminarily determined, on the basis of which the deflection of rolled products downstream of the last stand of the mill is set, and adjustment of the winding current of rolled products is performed starting with the winding of second and subsequent layers of the roll. |
