The present invention relates to a composition extracted from ginseng containing ginseng saponine Rh1 for functional food which inhibits differentiation into mast cells and adipocytes which is hard to be controlled only by diet therapy and movement therapy and to a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention is based on the idea that components in ginseng having adaptogen activity which normalizes imbalance of human body among a variety of herbal medicines that have been traditionally used in Korea have a fat suppression component so that specific components of ginseng which is natural food are used to reduce body fat so as to effectively reduce fat without side effects on hearts, circulatory system, etc. by chemical medicines thereby preventing or reducing obesity.
