PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dwelling house capable of taking a larger quantity of sunlight from a semi-outdoor space into an indoor space in winter, blocking more quantity of summer sunlight than before in the semi-outdoor space, giving an open and comfortable living space to a resident in the indoor space, and having an open rest space with a sense of security also in the semi-outdoor space.SOLUTION: A dwelling house 1 includes an indoor space 3 and a semi-outdoor space 2 provided in an intermediate floor. The indoor space 3 are adjacent to the semi-outdoor space 2 in two faces, and opened up to an upper floor while being adjacent to the two faces. The dwelling house 1 includes furthermore: a projection 4 projecting so as to cover a floor 5 of the semi-outdoor space 2 at the substantially same height as the height of a ceiling of the upper floor; and column bodies 6-8 substantially vertically extending from the floor 5 of the semi-outdoor space 2 to the projection 4. Openings 16a, 17a, 18, 19 are provided in a boundary between the indoor space 3 and the semi-outdoor space 2 over the two faces in the intermediate floor and the upper floor. |
