PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation method for predicting a shape of a metal-resin composite member subjected to thermal process in a short time, using a computer.SOLUTION: A simulation method predicts a shape of a metal-resin composite member having a metal member and a resin member, which has been subjected to thermal process including a heating process and a cooling process, by using a computer. The simulation method includes the steps of: setting a mechanical characteristic parameter of the metal member and cured thermosetting resin as the resin member and a mesh model (S1, S2); performing calculation on the assumption that no resin member exists but only a metal member exists before the resin member is cured (heating process) (S3); performing calculation on the assumption that both metal member and resin member exist after the resin member is cured (S4); and predicting a shape of the metal-resin composite member subjected to the thermal process. |
