PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing color mixture in an imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus having a plurality of photoelectric conversion units 101 includes: a semiconductor substrate SUB which has a first surface for receiving incident light and a second surface opposite to the first surface and in which the photoelectric conversion units 101 are arranged; a first non-metal region 112 which is located on the second surface side of the semiconductor substrate SUB and is arranged on each of the photoelectric conversion units 101 so as to at least partially overlap the photoelectric conversion unit 101; and a second non-metal region 107 being in contact with a side surface of the first non-metal region 112. The refractive index of the first non-metal region 112 is higher than that of the second non-metal region 107. |
