PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for determining a lift height of a forklift without using a cable requiring an additive component which needs labor hours for the installation and maintenance work and is mechanically movable.SOLUTION: A forklift 10 includes a fork which moves up and down along a lift frame 12 through a mast and determines a lift height based on a position of the mast. The forklift 10 measures a turning roller 14 and a chain 16 using at least one magnetic field sensor 18 to determine the position of the mast. |
