PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail structure of a passenger conveyor and a handrail installation method, capable of efficiently performing work of positioning a panel support without needing a jig.SOLUTION: A handrail structure of the present invention includes: an interface bracket 18 fixed on a truss frame 2, and on which a panel support 3E included in a block handrail 3 is placed and fixed; a jack bolt 42 for adjusting a height position of the interface bracket 18; and a defining part 18A movably provided to the interface bracket 18, and defining the arrangement position in the horizontal direction W3 of the panel support 3E while coming into abutment with the side surface 3J of the panel support 3E. The defining part 18A includes a projection piece 33 having a female screw, an adjusting bolt 31 threadedly engaged with the female screw of the projection piece 33 and disposed so as to come into abutment with the side surface 3J of the panel support 3E, and a locknut 32 for locking the adjusting bolt 31 in the projection piece 33. |
