The present invention relates to a device and method for analyzing the quality of a three-dimensional stereoscopic image, and the device comprises: a three-dimensional effect analysis unit for extracting depth values for each pixel per frame from depth information on a two-dimensional image, generating a depth information histogram indicative of a distribution chart of a depth map in accordance with a depth gray value for the extracted depth values per frame, and generating a three-dimensional value (DF) by analyzing the similarity between the depth information histogram and a uniform distribution histogram by using a Bhattacharyya coefficient; a stability analysis unit for generating parallax information by using the depth information on the two-dimensional image, obtaining seven coefficient values by using the depth information and the parallax information, and generating a final stability coefficient value (CF) through a linear combination; an error analysis unit for detecting an error that processes the background as an object or an error that processes the object as the background, by using the depth information on the two-dimensional image or other information excluding the depth information; and an analysis result unit for calculating a total evaluation score by giving a weight and a constant to each coefficient value on a three-dimensional effect, stability, and errors for each sequence image when the two-dimensional image is converted into a three-dimensional stereoscopic image, and providing a list according to the ranking with the total evaluation score for each sequence image. |
