PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain attenuation characteristics for electromagnetic waves propagating in multiple directions, without limiting the propagation direction of electromagnetic waves, for which the attenuation characteristics can be obtained, to one direction.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave attenuation structure comprises: a pair of conductor walls 1 facing each other while having a gap; a dielectric substrate 2 arranged on one or both conductor wall 1 sides of the gap; a plurality of polygonal line conductor patterns 3 composed of polygonal lines having peaks and valleys at a predetermined pitch, and arranged in the open surface of the dielectric substrate 2; a solid conductor pattern 5 provided on the conductor wall 1 side of the dielectric substrate 2 in contact with the conductor wall 1; and a plurality of through holes 4 arranged on the polygonal line conductor patterns 3 at an equal pitch and connecting the polygonal line conductor patterns 3 and the solid conductor pattern 5 electrically. |
