PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a production inhibiting agent for carboxymethyl arginine accumulating specifically in collagen, and provide a composition and a method in which the agent can be effectively utilized.SOLUTION: A carboxymethyl arginine production inhibiting agent includes aqueous extract of Camellia seeds as an active ingredient. There is also provided an oral composition or a skin external preparation in which the agent is blended. There is also provided a skin cosmetic method in which the extract or agent is ingested or applied to the skin.
