PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components, make a compressor light, and simplify an assembling step in a vane type compressor.SOLUTION: A vane type compressor comprises: a housing assembly 2 inside which a vane and a rotor 25 are arranged to constitute a compression chamber 31; a shell 7 inside which the housing assembly 2 is housed and on the inner periphery of which an annular groove 7e is formed; and a circlip 16 arranged in the annular groove 7e. The housing assembly 2 is arranged in the shell 7, and maintained under a condition that it is housed in the shell 7 by the circlip 16. |
