PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform fast and quiet focusing by reducing size and weight of a focusing group and reduce the shortest photographing distance.SOLUTION: In a normal photographing mode, focusing from infinity to a predetermined photographing distance is performed by continuously moving a first 1b lens group G1b in a state that a first 1a lens group G1a is fixed. In a transition mode, when trying to perform focusing on a photographing distance shorter than the predetermined photographing distance in the normal photographing mode, by making both the first 1a lens group G1a and the first 1b lens group G1b be moved, the normal photographing mode is shifted to a macro photographing mode. In the macro photographing mode, focusing from the predetermined photographing distance to the shortest photographing distance is performed by continuously moving the first 1b lens group G1b in a state that the first 1a lens group G1a is fixed. |
