PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat conversion member capable of efficiently converting light to heat.SOLUTION: A heat conversion member includes at least one kind of semiconductor, and a band gap of the semiconductor is 0.5 eV to 1.2 eV. As it has a steep change between absorption and non-absorption in a range of a wavelength of 2,480 nm-1,000 nm of sunlight (light energy: 0.5-1.2 eV), the sunlight can be efficiently absorbed while suppressing heat dissipation by heat radiation from a heat medium of 200°C-600°C, and the light can be efficiently converted to heat. |
