SPECIMEN CONVEYANCE DEVICE, AUTOMATIC ANALYZER, AND SPECIMEN STORAGE RACKS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specimen conveyance device which overcomes defects of a rack sampler or circular sampler and contributes to execution of smooth automatic analysis, an automatic analyzer which comprises the specimen conveyance device, and specimen storage racks which are to be used by those devices.SOLUTION: A specimen conveyance device comprises: an annular conveyance path which includes a specimen sampling position and has an entrance and an exit for specimen storage racks; a conveyance unit which conveys the specimen storage racks in a predetermined conveyance direction along the conveyance path; a supply unit which supplies the specimen storage rack to the conveyance path via the entrance; an ejection unit which ejects the specimen storage rack having reached the exit from the conveyance path; a first opening/closing unit which opens or closes the entrance; and a second opening/closing unit which opens or closes the exit and also opens or closes the conveyance path at an end part of the exit on a downstream side in the conveyance direction.
