PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle which smoothly sticks a bag storing drinking water to cause the drinking water to flow out, and to provide a bag type drinking water server which uses the needle.SOLUTION: A needle for a bag type liquid server has a cylindrical needle body 61 where a tip 63 is sharpened and a water intake hole 65 is opened penetrating therethrough on a side surface thereof.
