METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SYNCHRONIZING TIME INFORMATION IN AD HOC NETWORK

The present invention relates to a method and system for synchronizing time information in an ad hoc network. The method that a plurality of nodes included in an ad hoc network synchronize time includes the steps of: transmitting, by a first node, time information that the first node corrects an initial time using a first self correction value at n-th beacon period, where the first self correction value is one of self correction value and a local average value at (n-1)th beacon period; and calculating, by a second node receiving the time information from the first node at the n-th beacon period, a second self correction value and the local average value and correcting the time information, wherein the first self correction value is one of self correction value calculated at (n-1)-th beacon period and the local average value and the local average value of the second node is an average value of time information on one or more nodes surrounding the second node.
