<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe connecting passageway between buildings, such as base-isolated buildings which surely absorbs displacement between adjacent buildings upon an earthquake in a simple structure.SOLUTION: A base plate apparatus for a connecting passageway includes: fixed floor plates 16, 17 provided in floor overhang parts 3, 4 from a stationary side 1 and a base-isolated building side 2 so as to form a part of the floor surface; a center-retaining link mechanism 20 which can be deformed following displacement made between the stationary side 1 and the base-isolated building side 2 when parallelly moving by an operation of link connected at the center position between the fixed floor plates 16, 17; a slide floor unit 30 which can move on a plane surface following the displacement of the center-retaining link mechanism 20; and rotation header floor plates 32, 33 which are installed rotatably via a rotation support point and block a space between the fixed floor plates 16, 17 with a slide floor plate 31. The movement of the slide floor unit 30 is controlled to block the space between the fixed floor plates 16, 17 by the slide floor plate 31 and the rotation header floor plates 32, 33.</p> |
